International Parkour Day

APK (American Parkour), DUPK (Dundee Parkour), and PKFR International are declaring the first Saturday of June to be INTERNATIONAL PARKOUR DAY.

This will be a day when groups across the country get together to celebrate the art we all love (Freerunners are invited as well). We chose the first Saturday in June because there are no conflicting national holidays, and unlike dates like "David Belle's Birthday", it will always be a Saturday.

We'd like the day to include an important element in the parkour community, a "Leave no Trace" cleanup. We hope you'll join in on what we hope will become a tradition of celebration of Parkour and Freerunning. We'd also like to emphasize bringing new people out on this day or taking extra care and time in interacting with the public and curious onlookers. Please check this thread for links to local jams and events. Please email your events for that day to m2@americanparkour.com or dundeepk@gmail.com and we will post them on our sites.

DUPK,
Rustic B

This article was actually written by Syn from PKFR International, I just changed it from national to international by confirming our participation.
