A little about our club..

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Dundee Parkour Club Homepage!!

If you are here, that means you are interested in the sport of parkour and freerunning!

We hope you find some useful information on this page, and that you come along to a training session sometime!

A little about us:
We started up in November of 2008, and now have about 15 members. As of now, we only have students of Dundee University who train with us, but we will welcome anyone who is intersted! We are sponsored by Braes Pub and normally go there after our training sessions, to have a few drinks and tell a few stories.

Our training times as of now are Sundays at 3pm, and we meet outside of the main university library, before going off to different training spots around Dundee..

Anyway, here are some useful websites for you if you want some more information on movements, philosophy, etc..

The APK website has a lot of useful info and promotions going:
http://www.americanparkour.com/

This is our core team's website, PKFR International:
http://pkfrinternational.com/

A good article on the sport of Parkour:

A good website by Dogen, for learning tricking..also if you look up tutorials by Dogen on YouTube you will get VERY good tips for tumbling and tricking:
http://www.dogentricks.com/

And here are 2 tricking forums, the first one is a smaller community so the people are more likely to reply and help out:
http://www.tricksession.com/

and this is the classic one:

Oh and don't forget about conditioning!! Very important..here is a very interesting video by a traceur we call LiveWire. We might get to train with himif we go to any major PK jams in the spring:
